It is arguably the most anticipated event of the year in the Homebuilding industry. The Nationals welcomed a sold-out crowd of home building professionals this past January in fabulous Las Vegas to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of industry leaders in sales and marketing. Having been the recipient of numerous regional awards over the years, Five Star Interiors President Ellen Weese was elated to hear that her firm was nominated for not one but two Gold awards in model home merchandising.
Five Star brought home Silver in the $750,000 to $1Million category for their soft contemporary designs featured in the Partners in Building model home at the Canyons at Lakes Travis. With four bedrooms, a formal dining room, gourmet chef’s kitchen, and nearly 5000sq.ft. of living space to be furnished the Five Star team brought their A-game showcasing their talent and market expertise in the design of this exquisite model home. The color pallet features a transitional variety of heavily textured neutrals complimented by teal accents and warm wood tones throughout. Intricate tile details and custom cabinetry showcased in the main living area add sophistication to the space that will show brilliantly through the ever changing seasons of interior design trends. Being recognized as a finalist in such a competitive category was an unbelievable honor, however it was the results of the $1Million to $1.5Million category that floored the Five Star team.
Nestled in the thriving city of Sugar Land, Texas, The Enclave at Riverstone is a pristine community that can be described by no other word than immaculate. This community boasts resort style amenities along with some of the most elegant and awe-inspiring home designs in the greater Houston area. It was in this vibrant community that Five Star Interiors received the privilege of providing the interior design for Newmark Homes’ stunning 6500sq.ft. model home and winning the Gold Award for best interior merchandising in the $1Million-$1.5Million category at The Nationals Sales and Marketing Awards.
The win came as both a surprise and an honor as they were up against the some of the most prestigious design firms in the nation. The Five Star team utilized their talents to their fullest potential and were rewarded for their outstanding efforts. The designers challenged themselves creatively searching for new ideas and pulled out all the stops for this elaborate model home with the mindset that no detail was too small to be overlooked. The end product - innovative designs and show-stopping finishes.
The lighting selections throughout this model stole the show. What Five Star lovingly refers to as “the jewelry of the home” served as the ultimate accessory highlighting the elaborate ceiling details that were added into the central gathering areas of the home. Each fixture was hand-selected from a custom lighting specialist boasting modern designs that are both eye-catching and inspiring. The multi-dimensional fixtures served as a focal point for the space creating interest and leading the buyer’s eye up reinforcing both the dramatic ceiling heights and quality craftsmanship of the home.
Each selection was meticulously thought through paying homage to the remarkable architecture of the home. From the marble flooring throughout the main floor to the two story master closet, every room in this 5 bedroom model boasts creativity and class. Five Star was honored to be a part of creating this phenomenal model home and celebrates the award winning success that Newmark Homes has seen in this community.
