Five Star Interiors, Inc. and M/I Homes Partner to Win Best Interior Merchandising at McSAM 2021!

The McSAM Awards Ceremony held Saturday night, July 24, 2021, at the Westin Galleria in Dallas proved a success for many – including Five Star Interiors, Inc!  Not only did FIVE of our model homes qualify for the finals, our partnership with M/I Homes DFW completely Raised the Bar with a big W-I-N for Best Interior Merchandising for the Sweetwater Light Farms model! 

The overall impression of this home is so serene it is hard not to love! A fresh take on farmhouse style was achieved by balancing light wood floors with white walls and cabinetry.  To Add some color, we popped in green and black accents as evidenced in artwork, accessories, and a dynamic black trim detail in the family room. The teen’s wing, including their exclusive flex space, is blissfully away from the owner’s retreat. These spaces were merchandised to subtly promote some of the neighborhood attractions and activities while offering the potential homeowner creative layouts for personalizing their space. Layered in luxury and comfort, soft sheer drapery frames a wall of windows in the owners retreat slightly filtering beautiful natural light.

 This organic, serene, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed model has been very well received by today’s very savvy homebuyers.
